	Description: Aged 15-29 and Seeking Employment? YMCA Youth Works employment program is starting in Chilliwack this Month! The YMCA Youth Works program helps youth gain the confidence, skills and experience to secure and maintain employment. This FREE job readiness program offers one-on-one support with experienced career advisors, job search and choices of training such as Super Host, Food Safe, Forklift, Serving it Right, First Aid, WHMIS, Driver’s training and others, as well as work placement supports. Other benefits of this program include food support and transportation assistance. The YMCA is actively recruiting for our next intake and hosting Information Sessions at the Chilliwack YMCA Youth Works location at #308-46167 Yale Rd. To register for an Information Session, please email us at youthworks at gv.ymca.ca or call or text us at 604-316-7418. All applicants must attend an Information Session or meet with a Program staff member in order to complete the application and interview process. Basic Eligibility criteria: · Between 15 and 29 years old · Eligible to work in BC · Not attending school · Unemployed and non-eligible for EI benefits.
