Celebrate Earth Month with the City of Chilliwack April 3, 2023

Chilliwack, BC: April is Earth Month in Chilliwack! From the Adopt-a-River cleanup and spring City-Wide Garage Sale to the residential large item pickup program and municipal top-up rebates for home energy efficiency upgrades, there are ways for everyone to participate.

“Chilliwack City Council knows that addressing climate change is a critical issue, and we want to make a difference through our Corporate and Community Climate Action Plans,” said Mayor Popove. “Earth Month is a great reminder for each of us to give back to the environment, and I encourage all Chilliwack residents to participate through one of the City’s events, or on your own.”

Residents who are completing energy efficiency upgrades to their homes may be eligible for rebates through the provincial Clean BC Better Homes Program, and the City of Chilliwack is offering additional top-up rebates for certain upgrades. These rebates are available on a first come, first served basis and are distributed by the Province.
