With your enthusiastic support, the Citywide curbside program and the municipal recycling depots are diverting an average 386 tonnes of recyclables per month from the landfill. That's 34% diversion through recycling - more than a 260% increase from our 13% diversion rate prior to implementation of the curbside program!
Where do I purchase Tag A Bag Stickers?
Tag A Bag stickers for extra Garbage or Yard Trimmings can be purchased at the following locations:
- Save-on-Foods on Tamihi Way
- Save-on-Foods on Vedder Rd
- Save-on-Foods on Yale Rd
- Kim’s Grocery and Gas Bar
- Yarrow Petro Canada
- Trask's Supply (Rosedale)
- City Hall - Finance Department
All current Tag a Bag stickers expire on April 30, 2017. New stickers will be available for the period May 1, 2017 through April 30, 2024.
Please note: A subscription to Yard Trimming collection is required for the use Yard Trimming Tag A Bag stickers. The subscription continues until you cancel it or until the new Compostables Collection Program starts in May 2017.
